Barbarian: The Barbarian can deal large amounts of Melee damage to all enemies within range. The Barbarian can also take large amounts of damage, which makes it the ideal class for Tanking for a friendly group. Also, make sure to utilize the Barbarian’s War Cry to give a variety of bonuses to your group members/allies.

Monk: The Monk does not have the ability to take much damage, but specializes in Stuns and can deal large amounts of damage. This makes the Monk one of the best DPS classes in Diablo 3. As long as the Monk does not create much Aggro, monsters will attack the Tank of the group (Usually a Barbarian) and the Monk is free to deal damage to nearby enemies. The Monk also has Mantras that can give a variety of bonuses to your group members/allies.

Demon Hunter: The Demon Hunter is mainly a ranged class that can pick off enemies from afar. Though this Class cannot take much damage, the Demon Hunter specializes in Traps, Rockets, Grenades and Bombs that can Immobilize, Slow and create many other Control Impairing Effects. As with the Witch Doctor and Wizard, the Demon Hunter is most effective when at a distance from enemies.

Witch Doctor: The Witch Doctor is a great support class as it can summon a variety of undead creatures to fight by its side. The Witch Doctor can summon Zombie Dogs or a Gargantuan to tank for the group, while others can freely deal damage to the target at hand. This class can also use Fear and Confuse abilities to easily take down large groups of enemies. The Witch Doctor can also cast Big Bad Voodoo to give a variety of bonuses to your group members/allies.

Wizard: The Wizard is mainly a spellcaster that has a wide range of AoE abilities, great for taking down large groups of enemies. This Class is not made for taking damage, but can deal large amounts of ranged damage upon enemies. With the right set of skills, the Wizard can deal the most damage of any class in Diablo 3.
