First Batch Winter Transfers on FIFA 15 Released
EA Sports have made a surprising move to release a batch of winter transfers for FIFA 15 midway through the window, with the main headline being Ivory Coast striker Wilfried Bony’s move from Swansea City to champions Manchester City.
Normally at the end of the January transfer window EA will release a new download which will allow players to play with clubs with fully updated transfers.
However this year they have released a first part of transfers after around three weeks with the main headline being Bony’s £28 million move to City.
The update also covers Fernando Torres’ move from Milan and then to Atletico Madrid as well as Internazionale’s double loan deal for Arsenal’s Lukas Podolski and Bayern Munich’s Xherdan Shaqiri.

This is perhaps a sign from EA that they suspect there will be plenty of transfers between their first update and deadline day and in order to ensure they get the February update out as quickly as possible they have split the update into two parts.
It is worth bearing in mind that any players received in Ultimate Team packs before the update will stay registered to the club they were at before and that only players received after the update will be at their new teams.
